To celebrate my birthday this year, my wife and I went to fruita for a long weekend with some friends: Derrick and Lesley. It was a blast. Unfortunately, Kendra had to work on her thesis most of the weekend and Lesley had to grade papers, so Derrick and I hit up most of the trails just the two of us. We did about 24 miles of riding on friday and 20 miles on saturday. Lesley did join us for a short part friday morning and they both did on Saturday morning. Here are some sweet pics:
